1) Title: Mobile apps / cloud service development for ASPARA, a smart veggie grower
2) Description:
Aspara (www.aspara.hk) is a wifi connected Internet of Agriculture (IoA) device that embedded with electronics, software, sensors, and network connectivity, it aims to help people grow veggies indoor at home with minimum effort. Aspara also includes cloud service and mobile application to provide summary information and remote control on the go. The technologies involved in this project include mobile application (Android/iOS), cloud service(Amazon Web Service, nodejs, SQL, etc) and Hardware/Firmware(embedded linux, c programming, etc). We welcome students with strong interest in mobile application, cloud service or Internet of Things (IoT) development. Suitable candidates shall possess strong software engineering and analytical skills, and candidates who have experience in mobile application or cloud service development will be in advantage.
