This week’s reading group will be hosted by Ankur. He will be presenting the following paper PMBP: PatchMatch Belief Propagation for Correspondence Field Estimation Frederic Besse, Carsten Rother, Andrew Fitzgibbon and Jan Kautz BMVC 2012.
The paper is available for download at here. It is an extended version of PatchMatch which Dan Goldman presented a few weeks ago. While patchmatch maintains a strict one best match per pixel, PMBP maintains k-nearest neighbour matches (more like Generalised PatchMatch.
