Dr Steven McDonagh

Steven McDonagh is a Research Associate in the Biomedical Image Analysis (BiomedIA) group at Imperial College London, working with Bernhard Kainz. His research focuses on image understanding using machine learning techniques and hardware accelerated medical image processing methods towards motion compensation and volume reconstruction in neonatal and fetal brain MRI. Previously, he was a postdoctoral researcher with Disney Research working on real-time computer vision and machine learning problems, multi-view image registration and 3D surface reconstruction. He completed his PhD as a member of the Institute of Perception, Action and Behaviour in the School of Informatics, University of Edinburgh.
