Zhenfei Zhu is currently working as a joint PhD in the AESE group at Imperial College London. His work focuses on improving the flexibility and efficiency of the material-handling system in the industry. He does this by enabling the machine and vehicles to communicate and collaborate, and decrease the waiting time. His research interests include architectures and applications for the cyber-physical system in manufacturing and deep reinforcement learning.

Zhenfei Zhu received the B.Eng. Degree in industrial engineering from Northwestern Polytechnical University, Xi’an, China, in 2015, where he is currently working towards a PhD degree in mechatronic engineering.
