Dr Greg Jackson
Biography
Greg Jackson is a Researcher in the AESE laboratory. He is currently working with HDB, the Housing Development Board of Singapore. The project is part of the broader Smart Singapore initiative and involves creating efficiencies in the built environment to promote longevity in their critical infrastructure.
His personal research involves Energy Neutral Operation (ENO) of Wireless Sensor Networks (WSN). Specifically, by measuring the State of Health (SoH) of energy stores in ENO WSN systems, these outputs can be used as an optimisation parameter to extend the longevity of ENO deployments without breaking existing guarantees of sustainability.
He was previously involved in the Intel Collaborative Research Institute for Sustainable Future Cities, both as a design technologist for Intel Research Labs and researcher within Imperial College.
