Speaker Bio:

Koki Nagano is a third year PhD student in computer science at the Viterbi School of Engineering at USC. He works at the USC Institute for Creative Technologies as a graduate research assistance under the supervision of Prof. Paul Debevec. His research interests include appearance capture, facial animation and simulation, GPU rendering, and autostereoscopic displays for digital characters. His recent work includes the simulation of skin microstructure deformation (http://gl.ict.usc.edu/Research/SkinStretch/ ), and projector arrays for automultiscopic digital characters (http://gl.ict.usc.edu/Research/PicoArray/ ). He was a visiting research assistant at IRISA/INRIA in Rennes from April to May 2012. He received B.E. from Tokyo Institute of Technology in 2012.
