The paper “QD-AMVA: Evaluating Systems with Queue-Dependent Service Requirements” co-authored by Giuliano Casale, Juan F. Perez, and Weikun Wang has been accepted for presentation at IFIP Performance 2015. The conference will take place in Sydney, 19-21 October 2015. The paper derives a variant of the Bard-Schweitzer approximate mean value analysis algorithm for queuing networks with state-dependent nodes. Noticeably, the method approximates in a very accurate manner the multi-server queue in closed queueing networks.
