Despite having completed my PhD not too long ago myself, I have had the privilege to work with many brilliant young researchers. It is a pleasure to see their careers progressing while still enjoying the odd drink when they stop by at Imperial!

  • Dr. Shubhechyya Ghosal (graduated 2021): Now Quantitative Market Risk Analyst at CitiGroup.
  • Dr. Esma Koca (graduated 2018; jointly supervised with Tommaso Valletti): Fortunately still with us at Imperial College Business School.
  • Dr. Napat Rujeerapaiboon (graduated 2016; first supervisor was Daniel Kuhn): Now Assistant Professor at the National University of Singapore. Napat won the prestigious PhD Dissertation Prize 2017 of the Swiss Operations Research Society (SVOR). The prize is Switzerland-wide and is only given out every 3 years!
  • Dr. Grani A. Hanasusanto (graduated 2015; first supervisor was Daniel Kuhn): Now Assistant Professor at the UT Austin.
  • Dr. Vladimir Roitch (graduated 2015; first supervisor was Daniel Kuhn): First position was visiting Lecturer at CASS Business School.
  • Dr. Michael Hadjiyiannis (graduated 2014; first supervisor was Daniel Kuhn): Now Data Scientist at Hellas Direct.
