Together with 14 researchers across Imperial College, we have successfully acquired funding for the EPSRC programme grant Integrated Development of Low-Carbon Energy Systems (IDLES): A Whole-System Paradigm for Creating a National Strategy! The project, led by Prof. Tim Green (Energy Futures Lab), is a multi-disciplinary programme of analytical work that spans critical areas of whole energy system analysis to support strategic planning. The aim is to provide evidence that can be used by governments and businesses to formulate their strategies around the long-term evolution of energy systems.
