Welcome all to the 2015 Department of Computing Research Associate Symposium.
Date: 11th June 2015
Venue: Huxley Building Room 144
This symposium is a great opportunity for research associates to present their work to other research associates, academic staff and PhD students.
Call for abstracts:
If you would like to present your work in this symposium, please submit your abstract to Layal Hakim (layal.hakim@imperial.ac.uk) by Friday 24th April. You are more than welcome to present work which you are currently working on, or which you have completed in the past.
All abstracts will be assessed by the RA symposium team of academics: Marc Deisenroth, Sophia Drossopolou, Naranker Dulay, Michael Huth, and Daniel Rueckert.
If you have a conference coming up in the Summer/Autumn, this symposium is a great chance to practice your presentation.
Important Dates:
(1) Abstract submission deadline: Friday 24th April
(2) Notification of acceptance: Friday 8th May
(3) Symposium date: 11th June
Lunch and coffee will be provided
There will be a cash prize of £500 awarded to the research associate who gives the best presentation.
