In total there are 20 marks available for the team skills day. 5 marks will be awarded simply for taking part in the day and submitting your MB results to CATe. The remaining 15 marks will be awarded for the overall quality of your group’s micro-documentary.
The tutors will grade each documentary on the following criteria:
• Technical: Was the video technology used well? Was the camera kept stable and were the clips linked together well?
• Content: Was the video informative on its subject? Did it have a message or tell us something?
• Clarity: Was the audio feed on the video clear? Were text/titles/subtitles used appropriately?
• Entertaining: Was the video enjoyable to watch? Did the rest of the class seem to enjoy it?
• Style: Was there an overall style to the video? Did the look and feel of the video remain consistent?
The mark for each category will be in the range [1 – 3] where 1 = poor, 2 = good and 3 = excellent.
