DESCRIPTION:Members of my group are giving three invited presentations at the upcoming ISMP: \n\nRadu Baltean-Lugojan will present his work on Online generation via offline selection: Low dimensional linear cuts from QP SDP relaxation that was completed in collaboration with Pierre Bonami and Andrea Tramontani from IBM CPLEX. Radu’s work was supported by his IBM PhD Fellowship. His presentation was invited by Professor Coralia Cartis.\nDr Dimitris Letsios will present his work On Exact Lexicographic Optimization Methods and Approximate Recovery Strategies in Two-Stage Robust Makespan Scheduling. Dimitris’ work was supported by the EPSRC First Grant Scheme. His presentation was invited by Professor Domenico Salvagnin.\nMiten Mistry will present his work\, Optimization with Gradient-Boosted Trees and Risk Control\, a collaboration with Dr Gerhard Krennrich and Dr Robert Lee of BASF and Dr Dimitris Letsios of Imperial. Miten’s work was supported by BASF and the HiPEDs Centre for Doctoral Training. His presentation was invited by Professor Hans Mittelmann.
